One requests that you ignore the Slytherin Professor who mistakenly believes herself to be my teenaged self.

Students who remain aware that they are such, you are still required to attend your classes. A week has been lost already, it would not do for you to fall further behind.

Shalice, am I to assume you have also been affected by the Headmaster's spell?

On behalf of the Board of Governors, I am to inform you that the incident in Rangiku Matsumoto's class involving a student casting an advanced Lightning Curse is being investigated. Any and all decisions related to this matter will be made by the Board of Governors. Our decision will be final, and the case closed upon making it. If there is any issue with the final result, a formal complaint may be laid.

Until the Board has reached an agreement, the decision as to how Rangiku Matsumoto's classes will continue to run will be left to the Headmaster's discretion.

-Byakuya Kuchiki, Staff Representative

It appears Professor Iroh has returned to Hogwarts in the form of a ghost. Thus, if you see him wandering the halls, do not be alarmed.

Despite this unusual occurrence, I expect all students to be in class as usual. That is all

With the death of Professor Iroh, it has become necessary for a new staff representative to be elected to the position of school governor. Any professor who wishes to stand may do so, although applications for candidacy shall close at the end of this week, when voting shall then commence.

After due consideration, the school governors have also come to the conclusion that a further student representative is required in addition to the student governor who already holds her position. As with staff, any student who wishes to stand may do so, and applications for candidacy shall close at the same time.

OOC: See modpost at [info]squarewarts for more details~! Also, feel free to have you character be all '....I didn't know we HAD school governors' at Byakushi.

Wizarding Government has been cancelled for two days. To any students who wish to hand in homework sooner, I will be in my office, otherwise I must insist you bring it in on Wednesday. That is all.

Rukia?

OOC: This is the first time he's ever cancelled a class. Ever. He's been teaching for Five and a half years XD

Despite yet another upheaval, Wizarding Governmant classes will run as per usual. Regardless of decisions made by other professors, I expect all my students, whether affected by this spell or not, to attend. If you find yourself unable to enter a classroom due to reasons caused by this change, I expect a signed note from the Nurse detailing your absence. The same applies for any absence not caused by this miscasting.

Rukia, if you would inform me of your current state of health?

OOC: He actually did get affected. Mr Kuchiki is now in possession of kitty ears, a tail, a black nose and whiskers, because he is part panther. His teeth are also much sharper and he is lots faster, so I wouldn't be laughing much at him if I were you. He is going to pretend that nothing is different until this is over.

The madness, it seems has ended.

Students are expected to continue as usual, unless their Professor has indicated otherwise. Rukia, if you would not mind meeting with me? Your schedule is free, so far as I can see.

Ise-san, may I assume you still wish to meet for tea on Thursday?

It seems the majority of students have taken my previous words to heart. The standard of work in Wizarding Government has improved greatly on the whole, although there are still several students whose work requires a dramatic improvement. All senior students who received a failing mark on the latest homework assignment are to organise to meet with me at some point after class during the next week in order to discuss the possibility of necessary remedial work. You are well aware of who you are; I will not set appointments for you. You are senior students now, and capable of organising such things on your own. If I do not see you within this week however, detentions will be issued. My time is finite.

A reminder to all students: unless there are extenuating circumstances such as a serious illness or injury, homework is expected to be handed in on the set date. Detentions will be issued to those who fail to comply, and persistant offenders will have points taken in addition. The rules are the rules.

Rukia, it seems our meeting may have to be postponed. I find myself facing another engagement.

The quality of student work in Wizarding Government has decreased unacceptably since the break. I expect students taking my class as an elective to be achieving at an 'Exceeds Expectations' or higher. Those who study under me in a compulsory class should be, at the very least, passing. If I do not see an improvement in grades within the next month, I will begin scheduling mandatory remedial lessons. I am available in my office after class most days if you wish to see me before your grades reach this point

In addition, if I see another student chewing gum in my class, I will be issuing detentions as well as taking house points. You may imitate horses on your own time.
